Dale Emmart
Workspace Program Resident 1996
Dale Emmart’s Blue and Yellow Drawings incorporates conte and collage to produce an abstract landscape of swirling lines and ribbons of cut handmade paper, alluding to automatic painting. Her diaristic gestures on the page communicate a slow and meticulous process that is both delicate and personal. Thoughts, feelings, and emotions appear on the page in her fluid compositions.
