Visit Dieu Donné - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Our visitation hours are between 10 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday. While we welcome visitors to our gallery space, studio tours are not usually available in order to respect the privacy of working artists.

COVID-19 Policy Update

As of December 15, 2021, Dieu Donné is requiring all artists, interns, instructors, staff, and visitors to be fully vaccinated before coming to our studios. We recommend the use of face masks while in the studios, and ask that every person affirm that they are free of covid symptoms at our front door. Thank you for helping us ensure the health and safety of all our artists and staff!

Public Transit

Boarding the shuttle near the Subway

The nearest bus and subway stops are listed above. The Brooklyn Navy Yard shuttle stops near the F train at York St and near the A/C stop at High St and at Lafayette, with service directly to the Navy Yard. A visitor's pass or ID Card will be needed to board the shuttle. You can track the shuttle location in real time here. The schedules for both shuttles can be found on the Brooklyn Navy Yard website (linked here). Please ask the driver to alert you as to where to get off for Building 3 if you are unsure.

Walking through the Turnstile (located at Adelphi St and Flushing Ave)

There is a turnstile located directly in front of building 3 near the intersection of Adelphi St and Flushing Ave. Visitors may use the turnstile by scanning the QR code sent via email (pictured below). Take the elevator to the 6th floor and follow the signs for Dieu Donné (3 lefts and the door is on the right).

Driving

If you are using GPS or Google Maps, click here or enter the intersection of Clinton Ave and Flushing Ave as your destination. Parking is available behind building 5 or building 77, detailed on the map above.

Driving through the Clinton Ave Gate (located at Clinton Ave and Flushing Ave)

There is a security check point at the gate who you can show your pass to and ask directions should you be unsure where you need to go. If you take the first left you can, there will be parking on your right. If you take a hard left onto 7th, after building 5 and another left in front of the gate, you will make your way to the front of building 3. The entrance is in the center of the building, facing Flushing Ave. Take the elevator to the 6th floor and follow the signs for Dieu Donné (3 lefts and the door is on the right).
