About the Artist
“Material wise I am in love with the transformative nature of clay. The ability for soil to become mud then stone and then sand. Papermaking is new to me but I have found a very similar love of its transmutable ability. From pulp to paper to 3D sculpture. Akin to clay I feel like during this wonderful residency I have opened a new box of infinite possibilities.”
